Quiet time...

A nice two day weekend to start off the month of May. Each month in Winter we get a extra day off so a REAL two day weekend! Mostly these are drunken and debauched times but Heather and I managed to avoid that and just lay low and enjoy the quiet. Lots of sleep and a few back-to-back episodes of Farscape and Sex and the City. Not a bad way to spend a weekend and no nasty after effects!

Early May in Antarctic Winter 2005...

Thought I'd give this a try after seeing it grow so prevelantly online and in the media... We're now into our 4th month of Winter and it's been beautiful so far. Few storms and not much chaos. Heather and I have managed not to drive each other completely crazy although we do have our moments of stress but we manage to blow off steam somehow...




Two day weekend coming up for us now... that is, the first weekend of every month we get two days off rather than just Sundays No big plans as we've managed to go out and damage ourselves any number of times this winter already. We're just planning some relaxing this coming 2-day.
